Jolene A. Outten

As a paralegal for a worldwide chemical company, Jolene assists with the filing, prosecution and management of the company's patents and other intellectual property in the Legal Department. Jolene has worked for the same company for over 26 years and has an Associate of Arts degree from Goldey Beacom College and a Paralegal Certificate from Widener University.
Jolene has been married for over 19 years to her husband, John, an Environmental Scientist for the Air Quality section of the Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control. They reside in Townsend, Delaware and have two children, Aaron (a 2008 graduate of MOT Charter) and Zachary (a 2009 graduate of MOT Charter). Jolene has been a member of the MOT Charter School Board of Directors since 2002, and also has served as Team Manager for her son's travel soccer team since 2005 and continues in that capacity.
Her previous volunteer positions have included Girl Scout Troop Leader, Chapter President of the Delaware City Junior Chamber of Commerce (JCs), Office of the Delaware JCs Governor's Club, and member of the Blackbird Community Center.
