News of the Day 5/18/12

Today’s News Reporter:  Jodi

*Because we are in the third trimester of first grade the students will now be writing the news reports so they may be a bit shorter than usual.

Today’s News Report:

We had a spelling test this morning.

We sang the weekend song.

We read a book.

Jodi played with Grace at recess.

A lot of students had pizza for lunch.

We had workboard centers.

For morning work we wrote about what we might see at a rodeo.

For word study and phonics we worked on long and short vowels.
