Notes for the week of 5/14:

DCAS-I cannot even begin to express how proud I am of these students for their hard work and motivation during our state testing.  They worked so hard and showed tremendous growth!  Please congratulate each one of them for their efforts!

Language Arts:  Spelling homework is due on Fridays; Reading/IXL Contracts are due on Mondays.  Please see the links below for additional master copies of these assignments.  We are in the middle of a novel study, The Tale of Desperaux while creating our own test questions as we read using the QAR format.

Math: We are finishing up our study of Fractions and will begin to explore Volume.

Social Studies:  We are continuing to study Economics.  Students should be developing their businesses at home and sending in any receipts or parent notes about supply purchases.  Remember, please limit purchases to $10 per business.  Please click on the link if you need an extra copy of the Market Day info sheet.  Market Day is June 1st!  Click here for Facts about Market Day 

Wanna shop???  We will be offering the opportunity for parents to visit our markets.  Let us know if you'd like to attend on June 1st!

Science:  This week we are studying Water Evaporation and Condensation to complete the parts of the Water Cycle. 

HOMEWORK:  Feel free to check this website periodically, as I intend to update it each week.  However, please note that the agenda books are a much more up-to-date listing of assignments.  Also, homework is due and will be collected the next school day unless otherwise noted.

Monday:  Reading/IXL Contracts are due on Mondays (see note above about this week).  Students are to read 100 minutes at home each week as well as complete 30 minutes on the IXL program.  Click the link below to download a general copy of the contract.
