MOT Charter sponsors a chapter of the National Junior Honor Society. A panel of teachers appointed by the Principal determines who is invited to join this society, with emphasis on high academic achievement. Sixth and seventh grade students who have a cumulative grade point average of 96% or higher, are active in extra-curricular activities, and maintain a good disciplinary record are eligible for induction into NJHS. Eligible candidates are invited to apply for membership by completing an application in the spring. Selections are made in the summer after final reports cards.
The MOT Charter National Junior Honor Society serves the students of MOT Charter School by hosting "Homework Helpers" on Wednesdays each week, where any student may stay after school and recieve free help with his/her homework.
