BOARD MEMBER CHRISTOPHER SHARP

Christopher Sharp was born in Wilmington, Delaware and lived in Newark until age 19, at which point he moved with his family to Middletown. Christopher now resides in Smyrna, Delaware. He attended McVey Elementary School, Bancroft, Gauger, and Glasgow High School. Mr. Sharp received his undergraduate degree in English/ Film at the University of Delaware and went on to earn his Master's degree in Elementary Education through Wilmington College.

As a fourth grade instructor at MOT Charter School, Christopher teaches reading, language arts, and writing. This is Christopher's third year at MOT. He spent his first year teaching third grade and chose to move up to fourth the following year, working alongside colleagues Janet Stephens and Dorinda Stagg. Chris also coaches the after-school Running Club program.

Christopher has recently become engaged to Renee Anne Breznitsky of Newark, Delaware who he met in the summer of 2003. The two are planning an October 2006 wedding.
