High School
Learning at MOT Charter is a creative and collaborative, sometimes demanding, journey that increasingly urges students to pursue their personal academic interests and get involved in their communities to make a positive impact.
Our college preparatory focused program blends the arts and the sciences into various course offerings which include introductory-to-advanced classes in ten different disciplines. Students at every level have opportunities to explore interests in addition to the rigorous interdisciplinary exploration of traditional coursework.

Depth of Knowledge
With 80-minute class periods, we take the time to dive deeply into topics. Once you enter class prepare to get to work. Whether using debate, discussion, analysis or experimentation, your curiosity will take course content from class to class and make connections between disciplines and topics to engage your learning at deeper levels.
The classrooms, labs and studios on our campus include both open, engaging group areas, as well as places for smaller, more in-depth discussions of students’ work and thoughts.
You’re not alone
As teachers, coaches, academic or club advisors, our faculty are here to encourage students to explore interests, develop passions, stretch capabilities, become good citizens, reach for higher standards in all areas of school life.
- Advisory periods serve as faculty office hours and peer-to-peer support empower students to self-advocate for their academic pursuits, help them better understand their personal strengths and identify their areas for growth.
- Our Guidance staff works one-on-one with all students to help ensure they are on-track for the senior year college admissions process.
We keep learning too!
We believe a growth mindset is not just for students but faculty and staff as well; as such we model continuous learning practices designed to employ research-informed strategies throughout the school.
